Military Inspired Design for Veteran’s Day

One of the many things that makes our country strong is the bravery and dedication of the men and women who serve in our armed forces. Whether we realize it or not, our lives have been influenced in one way or another by the traditions, uniforms and tools of our different military branches.

In honor of Veteran’s Day, we put together a collection of images that showcase the influence of our military on interior design. You’ll notice one of the season’s hottest hues, olive green, makes a frequent appearance. Also strongly represented are navy blue and nautical designs, a nod to our soldiers at sea. But one of the subtler, yet chic, details, is the representation of bullet casings as table legs.
