As a California company we collect California state use tax on all purchases picked up or delivered in the state of California.
We do not collect state use tax on purchases we ship or deliver out of state. However, you may be liable to your state for the payment of use tax. If you have a valid California Sellers Permit we will not collect California state use tax if you present us with a copy of a Sellers Permit in your name and complete a California Resale Certificate. If you are exporting your purchase out of the country, you are exempt from California state use tax, so long as you supply us with an Intent to Export and a Bill of Lading from your export carrier at the time of purchase.
