Bess Bar Stool Featured on the Cover of Modern Luxury!
We are very excited that the “Bess” Bar Stool by Calligaris has been featured on the cover of Modern Luxury Interiors! Here is a bit from the article published in the Spring 2016 issue by Anh-Minh Le.
Before they even laid eyes on this Sonoma Home, Interior Designers, Dawn Carlson and Carol Perry had a strong idea of how they were going to approach this project.
For a modern home in Alexander Valley, MAS Design lets nature guide the way. “We wanted to create drama without distracting from the natural environment, which is the focal point of the house.” Says Carlson.
From the start of this project, the designers faced one problem, “How do we create a modern expression without making the house seem out of place?” The answer was often in the details, as you can see in one of the three bedrooms in the house. “The details are thoughtful, but minimal, allowing one to really rest in the serenity of the natural landscape.” Adds Carlson.
