Description

With its thoughtful proportions, the Apian table epitomises a design approach that sets great store by architectural stylishness and is underpinned by meticulously processed materials. Its airy aesthetic draws inspiration from the sheet metal bent into a semi-cylindrical shape and gently slanted upwards, creating a sharply defined base upon which the manually-extendable top rests (two side leaves mean that Apian can be pulled out to a length of 3 metres in total). One delightful detail on the pedestal base is the coating on the double sheet metal which catches the light and throws it back on an area that would otherwise be in dark shadow. Apian is one of those distinctive pieces that will instantly turn around an interior-design project.
