Huppé turns 50!
This month, we are extra proud to be San Diego’s source for Huppé furniture as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary. This distinctive brand was founded in Toronto in 1967 by Raymond Hamel, Auréle Huppé and Sylvio Huppé. Today, the business is led by visionary CEO Jean-François Nolin along with Head of Design & Artistic Director, Joël Dupras.
At Hold It Contemporary Home, you’ll find a selection of Huppé furniture for your bedroom, home office, dining room, and living room. Click below to download the Huppé 50th Anniversary Brochure for the full story.
In 1967, Huppé products could be found in homes throughout Canada. At that time, the company made cedar chests and had already built a strong reputation based on the durability of its products.
Huppé gradually expanded its line to include furniture for every room in Canadian homes. After 50 years of innovation, Huppé products continue to offer quality and style to rival the leading European manufacturers. Their timeless, contemporary, and high-end collections can be found throughout North America and around the world.
Creating Timeless Pieces
Huppé does not just design furniture, they create customizable and functional pieces that are built to last and can be adapted to any lifestyle and span generations. Each piece is built at the time of order – their furniture is made, not manufactured. Every item is made piece by piece, personalized to each customer.
Inspired by Everyday Life
Huppé works with internationally renowned designers from around the world. After the arduous design process, only the best pieces are pushed through to production, ensuring each piece brings joy and ease to everyday living. Materials are chosen for their beauty, but also for their ease of care and longevity.
