Singapore’s Fish House

This beautifully exotic residence in Singapore, thoughtfully named the “Fish House,” was designed by the team at Guz Architects with the idea of ensuring a connection with nature and the homes’ surrounding landscapes. A “modern tropical bungalow,” the Fish House is perfectly integrated in its environment. The architectural design encourages natural ventilation throughout the home, and the floor to ceiling windows provide beautifully unobstructed views of the body of water surrounding it. According to Guz Architects “This environmentally friendly seafront house embraces Singapore’s tropical climate by creating an open, breezy space, giving resients views from every room to the ocean as well as into the garden with it’s large swimming pool. Our main endeavor was to create a residence with seamless integration of the surrounding nature and therefor water had to play a key role in achieving that.”
