Formed in 1974, as a sponsored program of The Center for Social Services, the first Lesbian and Gay Parade in San Diego celebrated the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion on New York’s Christopher Street. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in 1994 and today San Diego Pride continues to bring together the skills, talents and vision of a diverse community to produce the annual LGBT Pride Celebration which attracts 200,000 participants to Hillcrest for America’s Finest Pride Parade and Festival.

Free Shuttle Service to the Pride Parade and Pride Festival

PARADE SHUTTLE - departs every 30 min. Runs Saturday, Pre-Parade, 7:15 am – 11:00 pm.

Board at the Old Navy Hospital Parking Lot (Park Blvd. and Presidents Way); or North lot of the County Administration Building (West Grape Street and Pacific Highway). Drop off at the start of the parade route.

Post-Parade Runs until 2:00 pm. Board at the start of the parade route. Drop off at Old Navy Hospital Parking Lot, North lot of the County Administration Building (West Grape Street and Pacific Highway) or the Festival site (Sixth Ave. and Juniper)

Saturday, Festival Express Runs 8:00 am – 11:00 pm
Sunday, Festival Express Runs 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
