Living in shipping containers does not sound appealing, until you see this home in Kansas City. Industrial designer Debbie Glassberg created the 2,600 square foot home with five shipping containers. The home has a very modern look thanks to lots of light, open space and contemporary furnishings.  But the home is not only  functional and modern, but it is also eco-friendly. Glassberg added an edible rooftop garden, energy efficient appliances and geothermal heating.
