Skype Office

Skype has been in the news lately, thanks to Microsoft purchasing the video chat giant, but it was the design of Skype’s Stockholm office that caught out eye. The brightly colored, modern space offers a playful work environment. The space was designed by Mette Larsson-Wedborn from PS Arkitecktur. The conference room offers an orange carpet, purple chairs, and images of cables for artwork, proving that this is indeed a tech office.

The footprints contoured into the top surface of the table are also carved out of the underside, giving the impression that the table has actually been walked on, creating a truly beautiful illusion.
