Chilewich Meets The Runway

It seems an unlikely leap, but that’s exactly what happened when Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld set his eyes on the stencil-like Cubic lace design manufactured by Chilewich for their tabletop collection. Handcrafted Wood Glasses

Created by Milan designer Matteo Ragni, these beautiful handcrafted spectacles, called W-eye, are made entirely out of wood and aluminum. The way in which the wood is worked allows the frame to mould easily to fit the wearer. Designed without hinges, these frames are primarily intended for use at home.  The spectacles can be constructed with 6 different types of wood including cherry, ash, ebony, walnut, zebrano, and mahogany.  Read more …
