Ferrari Museum

This museum is about as loud in color as the cars that sit inside it. The Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy uses the bright yellow color that made the cars stand out on the streets. Designed by Shiro Studio the two building museum has curved glass walls and a sweeping roof. And of course, holds some of the most beautiful cars in history.

Sand Art

 

Yahoo News occasionally gets into the artisty mood, and this time, they found a treasure. Artist Andres Amador created amazing works of art in the sand, but not by building castles, but by creating sculptures. The amazing designs can only really be appreciated from above. Most of the artwork is around 300-500 wide and he creates everything using a rake. Check out more of his great designs after the jump.

San Diego Magazine

We are thrilled to see some images of one of our client’s home’s featured in San Diego Magazine this month. Almost all of the furniture around his home is from Hold It Contemporary Home. The great photos are by Zack Benson and Paul Body are part of San Diego Magazine’s March 2012: Dream Homes. Rotating Towers

 

Once a skyscraper has been designed, the shape doesn’t really change. But this new, innovative design by Italian architect David Fisher allows a skyscraper to change shape, almost every minute. Each floor can rotate on its own axis, to create a completely different look every few hours. The floors are powered by turbines, one for every single one of the 80-story building. Two of these skyscrapers will be built in the near future, one in Dubai and one in Moscow.
