Chairs for Chair’ity

Join us on October 20th for the 3rd Annual Chairs for Chair’ity to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego.

Southern California’s source for modern design is bringing together designers and local celebrities to create unique, one-of-a-kind chairs to be auctioned off for a great cause. The ending event will feature cocktails, appetizers, the close of the silent auction, as well as a live auction of the most popular chairs. If you’d like a sneak peak at the chairs before the event, stop by Hold It Contemporary Home starting on October 13th to view and bid on the chairs.

All proceeds from this amazing event go directly towards Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego. Last year’s event raised more than 10 thousands dollars and this year, Hold It Contemporary Home hopes to raise even more for the foundation.

ARTS: A Reason to Survive

A Reason To Survive offers a fine arts program to kids in need, all over San Diego. The non-profit organization connects with children that are facing major life challenges and introduces visual, performing and literary arts as a form of therapy. Though the organization is not made of clinical art therapists, they believe that the arts can provide positive, long lasting change in a child’s life. “We are here not only to heal these young lives through the arts, but to also inspire and empower them to overcome obstacles and thrive in this world – to become compassionate, creative human beings who make a difference not only in themselves, but in the world they live in,” said ARTS Founder/Executive Director Matt D’Arrigo. The non-profit is celebrating their 10th-Year Anniversary Gala tomorrow, Saturday May 14, at the NTC Promenade. You can still purchase tickets on their website.
