See plein air artists painting from live floral arrangements. There will be plant experts on hand with live entertainment by Tin Man’s Heart, refreshments, artist demonstrations and silent auctions.

The world famous Imperial Beach Sand Castle Competition will be held on Sunday July 24 2011 in Imperial Beach, California with a Festival on Saturday Jul 23. On Saturday the festival will include a Kids-N-Kastle Competition, entertainment, food, arts, crafts and the beach! On Sunday, the professional and amateur sand carving teams will compete with their sand castles and other sand sculptures from 9 AM tp 2 PM, with viewing until 4 PM, until the tides start to wash them away. This two day Pride Festival in Balboa Park has become a premier PRIDE event in California. San Diego Pride’s famous cultural Festival includes multiple stages of entertainment, more than 70 musicians, bands, comedy and dance performers, 300 participating vendor booths, an Art exhibit, a Vintage Auto Show, cultural presentations, and great food!

The shapes are made from recyclable fiber cement, which offers the durability of cement, without the weight. Dwell on Design often offers attendees a look at some of the newest and greenest products on the market. This year, pieceHomes brought an entire green home. The beautiful house offers sustainable furnishings, eco-friendly construction, energy-efficient appliances, cork flooring and solar panels to harvest the sun’s energy. The house is not large at 550 sq feet but it has everything you need in a home, even a washer and dryer.
